@edAhurtado well it takes up to a day for the sperm to travel up to the egg IF it has been already released by the ovaries, but even then it takes up to a week to implant itself into the uterine wall I think she is NOT pregnant because girls usually ovulate 2 weeks before she has her period and you did it one week before she got it. But then again she might have ovulated later on, that could be the reason she hasnt gotten it yet, but i believe shes not tell her not to stress it will delay more!

@nikki10114 Your period will stop altogether if you are pregnant, and pulling out, jumping up and down after sex, etc, from what I understand do not work when it comes to preventing pregnancy. Its good that you are using birth control and a condom, but its still a bit of a risk because you can still get pregnant even when using both. Its still the own persons choice, but for me I think I will wait until I get married and am able to care for a child incase I where to get pregnant.

i went to the doctor and did a pregnancy test and found out that im 13 weeks and 2 days pregnant. im not really showing but is feeling sick all the time, my belly is tender, im bloated nausea and vomitting, and sleeping a lot. i just hope everything is ok.

@RightfullyReticent if ur periods have started recently then it takes a couple of years to get regular, no need to worry. if it has been many yrs you can get an ultra sound of ur pelvis done to check for any cysts in ur ovaries but that isnt the only test there are a variety of other tests to confirm PCOS and it usually doesnt require any treatment unless u r unable to conceive or having extremely irregular cycles...many women have PCOS its not something to worry too much about. hope it helps

i had my 1st son when i was 16 and my daughter at 19, at the time i didnt feel young but looking back i dont know how we coped, im still with their father and we had a stillborn boy in 07, last year we had our son Kai in Dec and im now 28 and 19 weeks pregnant again, due 3 days after my baby turns 1 i dont regret having my kids young, in fact im glad i did cos they find it so easy to talk to me about anything, theyve turned out great, polite and caring kids (now 12 and 9)

@Lungreos The baby maybe small but all the fluid around the baby in the growing uterus makes the stomach bigger, which throws off center of gravity. The reason why women have to eat more is because to grow a baby it uses alot of calories and if you dont eat it will harm the mother and the baby.

What does the narrator mean by, "if your /doctor/ has decided to induce labor"?! It should be "when you and your doctor have decided". A woman should be informed of the risks and benefits of inducing labor as well as any alternative courses of action that is possible, and then allowed to make an informed decision regarding their care.
